Holiday House



Welcome to our Yarrawonga holiday house which is available for rent all year round. After holidaying here since the 1970's we decided to build a spacious, luxury holiday home overlooking the 15th fairway of Black Bull golf course in the Silverwoods Estate which caters to people who like a comfortable, well equipped & affordable home away from home. 

We designed the house to be practical, with plenty of space & with touches of luxury catering to water skiers & golfers. From the large double garage, which can fit your boat & 4WD, to the 3 bedrooms which each have their own WIR and ensuite, to the media room with a smart TV & luxury leather recliners you will feel like you are at home during your stay. There is even a study if you need to catch up on work. Additional bedding is now available - double/ queen sofa bed in the study along with a single roll-away. 

The kitchen & family room were designed to be the heart of the home. With floor to ceiling glass sliding doors, the view extends across the 15th fairway, over to the 16th green and 17th tee. It is connected to the alfresco where we spend most of our time with friends & family where there is a large table, Ziegler & Brown BBQ which is on town gas & a small bar fridge. The huge laundry has lots of bench space, storage & a drying cupboard, particularly handy for your golf gear.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Over the years we have rented plenty of houses where the basics were missing or not working. So we filled ours with great quality new appliances, crockery, cutlery, bake-ware & cookware. We even added a coffee machine so that we can enjoy an espresso without having to leave the house.



It's important to get a good night's sleep when you are away which is why we purchased new, luxury hotel Sleepmaker beds. Bedrooms 2 & 3 can be set up as a king or two king singles. Each bedroom has a WIR & ensuite offering greater levels of privacy. 

The Master suite which overlooks the golf course feels like a luxury hotel room. It has a generous walk in robe leading to a large bathroom with double sinks, rain head shower, deep soaking bath tub & separate toilet.    

All linen and bath towels are provided for your stay.

Sleeps 6 . Master Suite - king bed; Bedrooms 2 & 3 can be set up as a king bed or  two king singles. Each bedroom has its own ensuite  and a walk in robe.

Additional bedding can be arranged  to  accommodate 8 which includes a double sofa bed and a single  rollway.

65" UHD Smart TV with sound bar and  leather recliners.The family room has 50" UHD Smart TV &  each bedroom also has a TV.

Available for all stays with fast download speeds.

Plenty of off street parking

Large double car garage which easily fits your boat & 4WD. There is parking beside the house for vehicles or a small boat.  

Air Conditioning

Evaporative  air conditioning keeps the house cool. Bedroom 2, at the front of the house also has refrigerated reverse-cycle air conditioning.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

Includes espresso coffee machine, 719L stainless steel fridge with ice maker, Ariston European appliances, diswashwasher, walk in butlers pantry, new cookware, bake-ware, crockery, glassware & cutlery.






Ok so we're biased - the Black Bull Golf course is ranked in the top 70 in Australia  & the club house is 2 minutes away. The Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club's, 45 hole course is well established, a great course &  a short 10 minute drive.


Whether you appreciate the decades-old, world renowned fortified wines, prefer an elegant, aromatic white or powerful, bold red, Rutherglen is home to a variety of award-winning wines. Best of all, it is 35 minutes up the Murray Valley Highway.

Water Sports

Water skiing & wakeboarding are minutes away from your door.  Put your boat in at Hogans Road or Majors for a full day on the Murray or Lake Mulwala. For a bit of fun try Aquazone, the inflatable on-water adventure park on Yarrawonga's foreshore. 


For a small town there are loads of options. Relax at Club Mulwala Day Spa or have a treatment at Bella Pelle or Renature Beauty.  After a hard day on the water or at golf, Imperial Hands Massage (Ph: 0422 610 021)  give great sports massages & stay open until 7pm.

Farm Gate Trail 

The regions producers have created a farm gate trail so that you can enjoy some of the fine local produce. Rich Glen Olive Grove is worth a trip & for something genuine & rustic head to Boosey Creek Cheese, see the cows being milked and buy some of their cheeses right at the milking shed.  

Farmers Markets

Head to the Rotary Farmers Market at the Showgrounds on the 3rd Sunday of every month. The Yarrawonga Foreshore Market is on the 4th Sunday of every month. Fresh local produce is available. Take cash, not all stall holders have EFTPOS available.

Boat Cruises on Lake Mulwala

There are two great options, the traditional steam driven paddle boat, the P.S Cumberoona or the Paradise Queen. Both offer a fully licensed bar and kiosk on-board and are a great way to see Lake Mulwala.

Movie Theatre

Experience the luxury of a Gold Class experience for the price of $15 at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Movie Theatre. It has a fully licensed lounge bar,     a selection of food & furnished with          46 leather recliner seats & 14 leather non-reclining chairs, leading projection & digital sound system.

Local Clubs

There is something always happening at the local clubs and they have courtesy buses available. Mulwala Ski Club has some great performers during the summer months. You will always find something to do at Club Mulwala from bingo, to disco's, dancing & wine expo's.
