After holidaying  in the region since the 1970's we decided to build a spacious, comfortable holiday home overlooking the Black Bull golf course in the Silverwoods Estate.  We spent many weeks renting other people's homes, so when we decided to build something that suited our family of grown up kids and grandkids who want a family holiday we turned to local family builders, Kennedy's who turned our back of envelope sketch into a spacious and comfortable home where we hope to retire to one day .

The home caters to people who are looking for a well equipped and comfortable home away from home. We designed the house to be practical, with plenty of space for a house of adults who like to be together but also need privacy. Each bedroom has a television, walk in robe and ensuite. There is a separate media room with leather recliners and a study in case you need to catch up on work, which has a comfortable double sized sofa bed.

The family room and kitchen are the heart of the house and this is where we spend most of our time. The floor to ceiling glass provides views across the golf course, which look magnificent all year around. The kitchen/ family room leads out to an alfresco which has a BBQ connected to the town gas.

We built a large double garage, which can fit your boat & 4WD. There is direct entry to the house from the garage and also access to the clothes line to hang out your wet ski gear. There is a large laundry with ample space for storing all of your gear.
